Cambodia 2006 Cambodge Phase 2 - Project description

This project built on the positive feedback from the "Cambodia 2005" project, and targeted a population of between 8,000 and 15,000 spread over eight isolated villages.

Our main partner was the Cambodian NGO DEEP which is specialised in problems of access to drinking water in rural regions. Various other international or Cambodian NGOs which were already established in these villages (Host NGOs) also took part to help get the project off the ground.

The project ran for about 18 months, starting in July 2006. It had a budget in the order of €120,000 (which translates into a cost per beneficiary less than €15 per person).
